Activities Summary is blank

Hello all,

Using v. 3.5 on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS, the Activities Summary screen is blank for all activities.  All my customary metrics are selected.  See screen grab.  I've looked in all the appropriate places for a solution to this and haven't found anything yet.  I haven't used GC much recently since I stopped biking and started running, so I don't remember specifically when the problem cropped up.  It may have been when I uploaded a couple running workouts.

Does anyone have an idea what went wrong here?

I tried GoldenCheetah_v3.5_amd64_Linux.AppImage --debug on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS running on WSL and I got the same issue, even after Reset Layout, the error reported at the terminal is:

QXcbConnection: XCB error: 8 (BadMatch), sequence: 22400, resource id: 6293714, major code: 130 (Unknown), minor code: 3

Thanks for looking into it.  I tried Reset Layout, too.  It didn't work.  Maybe I should re-install a previous version of GC?  If so, which version?

I don’t think so

I would move forward to v3.6, RC4 or latest snapshot.

Was the Activities Summary in version 3.5 based on html?

If so, this is probably the sandbox bug from
https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/issues/4196 which is only
fixed in newer versions.

You could try:
QTWEBENGINE_DISABLE_SANDBOX=1 ./GoldenCheetah_v3.5_amd64_Linux.AppImage

Problem solved!  I installed v. 3.6 release candidate 3 and Activities > Summary came back--in different form but all the data are there.  Yay!

Just fyi, upon starting up the newer version, I got a pop-up that said,  "...please note Ride Summary chart was deprecated, and to use v3.5 again you will need to restore a backup".  That was useful b/c it spurred me to do a backup before installing.
