Hello,

I downloaded the "HR % in zones" chart. I do not understand why the sum of each bar per group by value is not equal to 100?

In the example below, for 'Group By Month' in October, I have 18.4+30.8+31.0+32.4+1.6 = 114.2 Some other times the sum is below 100.

What am I missing?

BTW, there are builtin metrics for percent of time in HR zones which aggregate correctly when used in Trends charts, they are called "Hn Percent in Zone", where n is the zone number, replacing the formulas in that chart by these metrics should fix the aggregation problem, beware to use the metric option not formula, for the reasons explained in the link I posted before.

I uploaded a new chart like this to CloudDB to avoid confusions, the one referenced by the OP has another problem, beside the group by one: since it normalizes by Time Moving and Heart Rate time in zone is computed independently of speed the sum of the columns may be different from 100% even for a single activity due to samples with speed zero.
