Garmin pushed a firmware update for my watch (FR60) and it also must have updated the firmware on the ANT+ USB stick.  I replicated this error on my 10.4 machine as well as my 10.6 machine

When I try to start quarqd as usual before running GC, I get:
Error opening /dev/cu.ANTUSBStick.slabvcp: are you root?
/dev/cu.ANTUSBStick.slabvcp: No such file or directory

I also tried running the command with SUDO - no luck.  Hopefully this is just something I (we) can change in my (our) config.
The watch works fine as before, and I can upload workouts to Garmin connect.

Is anyone else experiencing this?  Any thoughts as to how to get GC realtime back to full functionality?

Hi Brendan,

I had the same problem yesterday. There was an update to the ANT Agent
and because I had to set up my new Mac Book, I downloaded the latest
version.
Because I know it had worked before I remember that I had installed
the ANT+ USB driver from ANT (http://www.thisisant.com/pages/products/
usb-stick) and with this driver the it worked.

Regards
Tim

Thanks for the tip, Tim.  I can certify that once I installed the driver from the link Tim provided, GC was working on both my 10.4 machine, and my 10.6 machine.  However, there is still a problem with the CycleOps Fluid2 power number on GC_470885 on 10.4.  It reads low.
