VERSION 3.5 RELEASED

Hi,

We're proud to release v3.5 of GoldenCheetah, a desktop application for triathletes, runners and cyclists.

• Sync with major cloud services (Strava, Xert, TodaysPlan, SportTracks etc)
• Banister Performance Modelling and Power Index

Thanks for the new version. I downloaded from the link, installed on windows 10 machine but I do not see the same screens presented in the video with the new graphs. Also, all metrics for all charts in the Trends view have been deleted. I just uninstalled the previous version that was a development 3.5 from Feb 2019 and installed with the new downloaded file. I see the version has changed but I do not know what to do next. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the latest and have the same result. Perhaps, do I need to uninstall and delete some folders manually to reset everythig but the user data?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think I gave myself the answer. I uninstalled everything and backed up the folder "C:\Users\win_user_name\AppData\Local\GoldenCheetah\gc_user_name" by moving it to a different location. I reinstalled the new version and moved just the activities back to the default GC activity folder. Now I can see everything as in the video. For now, I have lost my custom charts which I will think how to recover or create again. I hope other users find this helpful and can add more valuable information.

I did almost the same procedure as you, but I backed up (in Linux) the
entire .goldencheetah folder, so I have all my configurations
unchanged

To have the new charts on an existing athlete you can use View -> Reset Layout in each view, additionally the Charts Bar menu Reset To Default allows to refresh the chart library.

If you have customized chart you want to preserve they can be exported to files using More -> Export Chart and, after Reset Layout, re-imported via drag and drop or View -> Import Chart

Looking good, testing now.

One thing I noticed right away is that I set een small size for the GUI which works great, but pages like "Summary" and "Tracker" display in a huge fontsize.
Changes in Tools-Options-Appearance don't have any affect. I previous versions The Summary and Tracker page had a smaller font.

Is there something I'm missing here?

Same for me such that I can't even see the toolbar buttons on the left of the screen (delete etc).  I also am unable to organize tabs by dragging and dropping ?

Those buttons are not available anymore.
