Hi,
Are there any news on the possibility to export fit files (that contain cycling or running dynamics)?

If you export to CSV, using the GC CSV format. It has the following fields:
secs, cad, hr, km, kph, nm, watts, alt, lon, lat, headwind, slope, temp, interval, lrbalance, lte, rte, lps, rps, smo2, thb, o2hb, hhb

Regards,
Mark

Currently want to upload to Stryd Powercenter. They read only fit or tcx files. Problem is the tcx file exported by GC contains a bad distance channel. The data points show only full meters. Power center calculates speed from distance and so the speed gets totally flawed.

Could you check the tcx export's distance channel, please?

A fit file export would be really great. Many other programs read only fit files. I understand it's not a GC problem. GC has already the most import and export possibilities. Would be even better with fit file export. :-)

The distance is as imported.

You have smart recording enabled?

Send me the file and I'll see what the problem is.

Does smart recording help?  I have the same problem as Jens when uploading to Strava to get credit for exercise for my health care provider.  The txc is not showing heartbeat  totals where a true fit files do.  If smart recording helps I could not find the option to click   Thanks

Do you see that data in GC? If I export to TCX, this is what I get - I presume all the fields are as presented in the .FIT file, including speed in m/s

The bug was fixed in V4 DEV1607

Damien has written a FIT file exporter, it seems to work well and the file produced imports into the usual suspects.

Will be in 3.4.1
