I’m just experimenting with GC, I’ve been using Trainer Road for the last couple of years but would like to use GC now.
I always prefer to do my workouts in non-ERG mode, as it helps me keep the same constant power output when riding outdoors. In Trainer Road, there is a toggle button to go from ERG to Resistance mode, I could not find such an option in GC.
The current workaround I’ve found is to setup my Wahoo Kickr in power mode (not FEC) in GC, then control the resistance on my bike computer (Garmin Edge 1030 Plus). I would prefer not using my bike computer for my indoor training.
Please let me know if I’m missing something.
Thank you!

Converting an ERG to a slope workout rode OK but visually not too intuitive and unless familiar with the workout and a bit hard to tell where you are along the way.

The workout I converted was low cadence with high load intervals and in standard ERG mode I stalled when the load hit.
The best solution still seems to set the trainer into resistance mode on my phone to train with these ERG files in GC.
