Hi,

I've spent an hour going through the commit logs and UI to pick out the main new features in V3. 

This is what I think constitutes the main new features (lets not get hung up on all the enhancements there are just too many to worry about). Can you scan it now and let me know if you think its wrong or missing something really important. (And yes, the technically the manual isn't written yet, but it will be!)

Attached a draft set of release notes for v3.0.
Will get to work on the manual next.
