If anyone out there has a Joule I'd love to hear from you too.
1.I think that we solved the issue of being able to run both GC and
PowerAgent on the same system. The issue was with downloading, and
even if that conflict still remains you can still use GC as an
analysis package (see point 4 below).
2.Since the Joule is brand new we don't have support yet. We were
hoping that it would be a USB mass storage device so that you could
just copy files from it into GC. Is that not the case (when you
plug it in via the USB does it show up on the desktop?). If it is
not a usb mass storage device it may take a long time for us to get
support as figuring out the download protocol requires one of the
devs to have the device.
3. The data file format has probably changed as the Joule seems to
have more data (e.g. altitude), that is generally less of an issue as
we have some really talented folks when it comes to decoding files.
4.In the meantime, you'll probably have to use poweragent to
download. You can probably export to .csv and import to GC.
Finally if you can get the raw data files out of poweragent we may
be able to decode that and save you the conversion step if you want
to analyze the files in GC.
Hopefully we'll be able to add support for the Joule in one form or
another in the near future. I didn't even realize that they were
out in the wild yet.
Thanks,
Jamie
