Can not start Appimage

• If I start the Appimage (./GoldenCheetah_v3.7_x64.AppImage) i get the Error:

  QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread
  AppImageLauncher error: appimage_shall_not_be_integrated() failed (returned -1)
  AppImageLauncher error: appimage_is_terminal_app() failed (returned -1)

  (AppImageLauncher:643416): GLib-CRITICAL **: 11:58:39.915: g_file_test: assertion 'filename != NULL' failed
  fuse: memory allocation failed
  squashfuse 0.5.2 (c) 2012 Dave Vasilevsky

• if I try

  ./GoldenCheetah_v3.7_x64.AppImage --appimage-extract

  I get the error:
  QSocketNotifier: Can only be used with threads started with QThread
  This doesn't look like a squashfs image.
  Failed to open squashfs image

System: Ubuntu 25.04
The 3.7 Build from 14.12.2024 is starting all Nighly builds after this Version have this Issue.

AppimageLauncher 3.0 alpha 4 does not solve the problem.

Other Appimages e.g VidCutter, Openaudible are working. Also the release version 3.7 of Goldencheetha is working but not the nightly builds.

AppimageLauncher is not required or recommended to run GoldenCheethah, follow-up the problem in their site if you are interested.

 

Also the release version 3.7 of Goldencheetha is working but not the nightly builds.

Older version used an obsolete tool to generate the AppImage, latest builds are generated using the continuous build of appImagetool to fix this issue.
