Hello,
when I use Golden Cheetah to get my SRM data from the powermeter to
the mac, does the programm keep the data format *.srm of the files or
does the programm transforms the data in an other file type?
Thanks for your help!

It stores them as .srm files.

Hallo Sean,
thank you for the quick response. So is it possible to download the
SRM-files directly from the powermeter to the golden-cheeath programm
without using the SRM-Software?
Thanks a lot for your help

GC will currently download directly from the SRM Powercontrol version
V. Version VI is not yet supported, but it will be as soon as someone
buys either me or Rainer a PCVI. :)

A quick note: after a download, the current version of GC gives you
the option to clear the ride from the PCV's memory. Saying yes
doesn't always work. I sometimes use the srmcmd utility to do it
instead, but that's not as easy. I have plans to fix GC, but I
haven't done so yet.

Yeah, I've had problems clearing the memory too. Seems the PCV needs a
break after some commands. I've tried to address this in the srmio git
tree, but haven't tested this thoroughly, yet. Most specifically I'm
unsure if the delays I've picked are sufficient.
