Now that BSX has started shipping, can anyone verify that the device data stream can be pulled-into GC (maybe v3.11?) with a BT USB adapter? I've received mine; completed a couple of LT tests, and would like to stream the oxygenation data into my GC training view. I'm using GC v3.1 right now but cannot find a metric to pull into a graph despite the release notes mentioning a couple blood metrics in v3.1. Am I jumping the gun a bit?

Thanks in advance,
Eric

We do not have any info regarding the ANT+ messages it sends.
We support the Moxy, since they have published this info.

If anybody interested in figuring out data format let me know. And btw - is it possible to get raw data via ant+ or usb stick? Anybody tried?

I will have a look this week. I got the thing in. Also curious about measurement related or not to Moxy data (for the other calf)

BSX Gen 2 coming. Seems like it can be used for GC as well (file export).

improved ANT+ and BLE connectivity
real-time muscle oxygenation recording
improved graphs and overhauled design experience
automated KICKR integration (during endurance tests)
Full download of all workout files
ANT+ broadcasting to watches and head units

Not yet. Thing is that they announced this in an email today. Further information would follow. But probably you have to get data from someone else (if you want it soon) coz what was stated in the mail was that existing units could be ugraded (with no info on price of this upgrading yet).

There's some updated info here. Looks like the cadence channel is utilised for SmO2 metric.

That is easy enough to switch across using the edit tools from > v3.2, or just copy and paste in the editor < v3.2

Mark, I've just pre-ordered a Gen2 BSX hence me posting the new thread. Has anyone been in touch with you about this new version yet as it seems like it's significantly different to the 1st generation model?

No. Be fun to get it working when it arrives :)

So I've been using mine for a week now and have done exclusively TrainerRoad sessions with it and it has worked flawlessly so far. I'm clearly still in the "data building" phase and establishing baseline values but nonetheless it's still interesting seeing how the value responds so quickly to power increases. I've done a few high power intervals of various durations (~160% FTP) and it's very good to see the recovery rate live, it seems to suggest that I could reduce the recovery phase of VO2 intervals before going again.

Just have the issue of the min SmO2 value showing the same as the max value once the csv file is imported into GC, figures are good on the BSX dashboard.
