Where is Search in activities view?

I'm using 3.8-dev2601 on windows 11.

The Search/Filter box is only a Filter box. It used be both Search and Filter. Is this intentional?

Hmm, I notice that after having GC open a while and clicking around among the various sections Activities, Trends, Train...the toggling ability between Search and Filter disappears leaving only the Filter ability. I'll keep an eye on it and see if I can correlate it to any click pattern.
