Hi Charles, you have uncovered a hole in docs and a bug:

Hi everyone,
I am a new GoldenCheetah user (version 3.7.1]) on Windows 11.
I am trying to set up my environment for Stryd. I have successfully imported my FIT files and verified that the Stryd data is correctly present as XData in Data > Raw Data > Developer. I am also using a Python script to map the Stryd power to the main power series.
However, I am unable to "feed" my Stryd charts (like "Stryd Overview Run") because I cannot find the way to download the necessary User Metrics.
The hole is Metrics > Custom screenshot is missing at the wiki
The issue: In Options > Metrics, there is no "Download" button or cloud icon visible at the bottom of the metrics list to access the Curated collection. I have checked the "Custom" tab as well, but the download button there is grayed out and seems intended for local files.
The bug is Import/Download are disabled (grayed out) when there is no custom metric, I will fix that.
The workaround is to create a custom metric using (+) then Ok so Download is enabled, once you download the metrics you like you can remove the sample one using (-)
My interface looks exactly like the one in the GitHub Wiki (User Guide), which also doesn't seem to show a clear download action in that specific view.
Questions:
- Is the "Download" button for metrics located elsewhere in recent versions?
- If this is a known UI issue, is there a way to manually trigger the download of the "Stryd" curated metrics pack?
- Alternatively, where can I find the formulas to manually create the metrics like Air_Power, Form_Power, or LSS in the Custom tab so they are recognized by the Stryd Overview chart?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards, Charles-André
Welcome and hope this helps, Ale.
