Hello everyone,

since april you can enter RPE and Feeling after an acitivty on Garmin Forerunners. Is there already a way to see these values in GC? I can't find these values in GC.

Thanks

Not currently.

To do so we would need to find the new fields in FIT spec, I have not checked yet if it is already updated, and a sample file containing them since this feature is not available on my 935, it seems exclusive of the new line.

DC Rainmaker posted a fit file in his dropbox:

Perceived effort set to 8, “Very hard”
Feeling set to “Strong” (2nd to highest smiley)

As expected these fields are not documented in latest FIT spec (EPOC neither is), looking at new session fields in that file:
[11:56:38.836] debug: Session Field 192 : 75
[11:56:38.836] debug: Session Field 193 : 80
it looks like field 192 could be RPE*10, and 192 could be feel, but I am not sure about the coding, may be 0-25-50-75-100?.

More examples with different values would be necessary to confirm they are what we expect and the encoding used.

Thank you, these examples follow the same pattern, so we could set existing RPE to (field 193 value)/10 and to add a new Feel field with native encoding, when present.

I tested this in the 3.6 RC1. RPE is working just fine. But there is no metric "feel" that i can access.
Any hint what I'm doing wrong?

When a new athlete is created the Feel field will be available by default, for existing athletes you need to add it to Configuration > Data Fields..
