auto sync to GC from connect or strava or wherever?

Seen posts about from others wondering about auto upload from garmin connect or strava etc but have not found a way to do this?  Anyone out there pulled this off yet? Yup can use the trainingpeaks feature in Golden Cheetah but plan on moving from trainingpeaks to GC permanently.

Garmin charges a fee of 5000$ to use their API: http://developer.garmin.com/garmin-connect-api/overview/

Therefore GoldenCheetah is not able to use it as its non-commercial and has no funding.

Maybe worth a look at tapiriik.com? Costs $2/year for automated sync
between lots of platforms, and can sync to a Dropbox folder which you
should be able to use as an auto import source?

Last time I checked, Tapiriik only syncs TCX files from Garmin Connect, not FIT, which means you lose a lot of the more advanced data that GC can make great use of.
