Tried a search, tried a search of the website, FAQ, etc.  Didn't find anything.

Is it possible to run GC on an ipad at all?  If so, does it sync libraries with the desktop application?

Not possible currently. Although as Digia provide better support via QT it could be made a possibility in the future.

Fair enough.

As it is, it seems I can access the desktop application via LogMeIn.  I just need to find a way to connect the garmin to the ipad.

To make your garmin speak to your ipad DC Rainmaker might have some useful information:

Good luck,

It's a good thought, but I'm using an Edge 500, which has no BT/BTLE and no way to connect via USB without a powered hub.  Kind of defeats the purpose of mobile uploading.

Honestly, you're probably better off picking up a chromebook and installing ubuntu or something on it.

Be warned that GC's UI definitely feels cramped on a smaller screen, though, even on my 13" macbook.  Effective use on an ipad would require some redesign for that smaller screen.
