Hi,

I know that my question is more related to linux than to GC, but maybe I can find some ideas within the GC community.

I am using the 3.6 Dev-Build Jan2021 on an ubuntu 20.04.

When I am trying to pair my devices (Kickr Core, Garmin Heartbeat) nothing happens. When I do the same on a windows machine with GC 3.6 everything works fine.

#lsusb gives me the information that the Ant-Stick is available. I see events on /var/log/syslog when plug or unplug the stick.

Does someone have additional infos how to debug or what to try to make Ant+ work under Linux (GC)? Are there log within GC where I can look?

Cheers in advance

Sebastian

I have also encountered this problem since recently switching to Linux (Ubuntu). I followed the advice on the above link but I can't paste files into my /etc/udev folder. Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
Wayne

thanks. worked like a charm. wonder why I didnt found the wiki page via my search attempts.....

next step: look for info wether the kickr core is a out-of-the-box config or if I need to tune it :)

you just create the .rules file like described. use your users home. and then copy it into the udev rules directory. because it is owned by root you need to copy with sudo.

in my example it was "sudo cp 52-usb-antplus.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/"
