How to connect to Tacx Flux S on Linux (Mint)

Hi guys,

sorry for my stupid question, but I wanted to control my Tacx Flux with GoldenCheetah and don't get how to do this.

Could you please give me some advice?

I downloaded the last AppImage-Build, clicked on "train", "add device", "Bluetooth", 2x"next" and "finish".

But it doesn't seem to work or get how to control the Tacx now...

Could you please help?

Adding —debug parameter when you start GoldenCheetah to get error messages displayed at the starting terminal may help to understand what is happening

With --debug-parameter it says

"info: Missing CAP_NET_ADMIN permission. Cannot determine whether a found address is of random or public type."

I tried "sudo setcap cap_net_admin=eip GoldenCheetah_v3.6-DEV_x64.AppImage", but the error stays.

Any suggestions?

I do not think that message is blocking. I see that message consitnuously, when I open GC, but I ignore it, and the bluetooth get connected. Certainly, sometimes it is not straightforward, and I repeat some steps: disable bluetooth, switch off and on the trainer,... and eventually, it works

@Ale: Yes, but I don't see any change when I start to excercise or change the resistance.

Would it make a difference, if I try installing it instead of using the AppImage?
