Laps not showing in GC

I have been using GC for many years and have never been able to see my laps/intervals that I created during a ride with Wahoo or Garmin bike computers. Currently I am using a Garmin 1040. GC is on a Windows 11 computer. I have tried version 3.5 and several predecessors and more recently tried 3.6 and 3.7. I have read several posts in this group and tried the recommendations without luck. What am I doing wrong? 

Also, having trouble editing the charts in overview and summary. Only lets me move them but I cannot delete or edit them

For Garmin 1040 you need to export the original FIT file from Garmin Connect and then import to GoldenCheetah v3.7 (release version or latest snapshot), older versions will not import laps correctly since format changed. To edit the Overview charts see the wiki, it is explained there.

You need to import the FIT file using v3.7 release or latest snapshot, previously imported files will not be fixed.

If you still have problems, attach an offending file for testing.
