I have installed GC V3.5 to a new computer and want to set up auto upload from Strava which worked fine on my old one. When I click on 'share'> 'add cloud account' > 'activities' > 'Strava'  I get the 'authorise - connect with Strava' page. On selecting this I get a Strava log-in page  but the log-in button is blocked with a no-entry sign. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, you are using a very old, outdated GC version and Strava authentication has changed in the last 5 years.

I realize that but I like that version. I only use about 10% of it. Just the ride summaries. trends and the PMC. Most of the rest is beyond me and much more detailed than I need. I found navigation in V3.7 to be almost impossible to follow. I have now got Strava to connect. I downloaded V3.7 and set my data, then did the Strava connection which worked. I then deleted V3.7 but not my data and downloaded V3.5 which opened with all my data on board. It also uploaded from Strava so I am now a happy bunny.

But you asked anyway, didn't you?

If it floats your boat, great! It is interesting 4 years and 2 versions after Summary was deprecated, we still have users (I don't know how many, but vocal) willing to resort to any kind of contraption to keep using it...
