Hi,

I have a FIT file with very high power peaks, so it changes the meaning of my CP curve. I would like to modify this original FIT file, in order to correct those peaks values. I know how to do it with Golden Cheetah manually, and so I did. So far it is OK. The thing is that I need that modify fit file, to upload it in another website, with the peak values corrected. I thought to export one of the formats that Golden Cheetah has as CSV, TCX, PWX and so on, and once I have that format, convert it again to FIT, but it doesnt work. Can anyone help me eith this?

FIT is now supported in the next release.
We will publish development builds this weekend if you can wait for it.

Are the FIT support still being worked on? I tried importing a exported FIT file into Garmin Connect, but Garmin Connect did not accept the file. I guess they might have extra restrictions on what a file needs to contain in order to them to parse it. Annoying if they don't accept anything that conforms to the FIT standard.

Cheers,
Erik

Damien fixed up a few issues recently -- are you using the latest source?

Just pulled master and tried again, same issue.

I tried both exporting a run and a bike activity.

FIT file export works in v3.5, but some channels like temperature and pedal metrics get lost. Is this intentional?

Hi Jens,

Temperature and pedal metrics should be added in next weeks.
Then perhaps XDATA.

Hi Damien,
Does it mean that uploading to Strava from GC will also include temperature, once these changes are made?
