Current Month Missing in Tracker Window When Set to Group By Months

I noticed that after the new year, Tracker, in the Trends tab, is not showing my January stats  for "This Year". It does show the current stats for "Last 12 Months". Also, last year, my stats for the current month showed up for "This Year". I have not changed any settings.

I'll also note that nothing is showing up in Tracker for "This Month".

Am I missing something here?

Likely some columns are 0 for the period(s), see the note on Data Table mode in https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/wiki/UG_ChartTypes_Trends#metric-trends

That didn't seem to help me. What I'm seeing is this in Tracker when I select "This Year" is what you see in the first image.  The second image shows what I see when I select "Last 12 Months".  
The third image shows the settings I see when I select "chart settings" in the upper left corner of that chart.  And now I'm missing columns, too, and I'll be damned if I can figure out where and how I added those columns.  Before the new year, the data would show up for whatever month I was in. That's not happening now when I select "this year".

Which version are you using?

There was a bug which could produce this behavior, but I fixed it long time ago: https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/issues/3281

I am running Version 3.5 from January 18, 2020 and have rthe same problem. It has been there all the time. After a minimum number of activities, the data will show up. I don't remember the actual number required, but think it is around 5 activities. My monthly total does not show for this month and I currently have 3 activities.

What happens if you clear the Data Table setting?

BTW, my first response included a link to the corresponding manual page, and the likely explanation of this behavior if you are using an updated GC version.
