Hi, I see there have been some conversations about this before but no solutions for me.

I attach a screenshot of what I mean. I have a side bar which I have just usable sized text after reducing the resolution of my screen (which isn't ideal but anyway).

The Activity, Date etc content remains so large I can't even read all the activity code. Generally  I think the fonts are too large on the Overview page but the Power and W'balance legend  font is minute. The fonts are generally much larger compared to all the other pages . E.g. the CP curve points labels are only just usable. The Data page font is too small for me while there is a huge amount of white space

I am on Mac OS Venture Version 3.6 RC3

Are there any options to get those giant Overview font sizes (especially the blue) under control? and get the others a bit larger. They don't change whatever I do.
I haven't found a way of editing the Overview page in any way.

Thanks

Overview fonts cannot be scaled independently, AFAIK. For metadata fields with longer text there is a different field type (TextBox) which uses a smaller font, Notes is an example and type can be changed in Preferences > Data Fields.

Power and W’balance is a User Chart, you Chan change its font scaling in https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/wiki/UG_Special-Topics_Working-with-User-Charts#chart-settings

I have a Macbook Air 11 and find the fonts OK, but I have the panel on the left with activities sized somewhat narrower which increases the size of other fonts. There are still differences though in the relative sizes.
Under preferences, what font do you have selected, and is it installed. I am using Arial. Have you tried scaling the font or resizing the tiles to accommodate the text.

Hi Steve. I’m on a Mac with a 4K screen. Yes I have font scaling at about 90%, Arial, and I stopped  using text box for Activity in the Overview.

There are still issues for me with some of the graphs where the axes labels are still way too small and the performance point labels on CP are too small. I can get a pop up for those - but I can’t just look at the screen and see all the relevant stats without really focussing on individual text and even then …
When making maps for example there will often be a mandated minimum text point size of 8 unless absolutely necessary.

I can’t find a way to resize any panes in the Overview.

Perhaps when this release is final there would be time for a developer to look at rationalising the fonts/ display resolutions somewhat.

Thanks

Hi DP.
I initially misunderstood your question but after reading Ale's comment I think I understand now. I have adjusted layouts and created some perspectives so I can more easily see what I want on my little screen.
Attached a screen capture showing 3 ways the font size is affected.
