Erg target power workout with video sync json/gpx

I have been train with golden cheetah using json file syncing with video, but the trainer resistance controlled with my android phone app, so its run in ERG mode.  I think it will be better if ERG workout in golden chhetah coud be sync with json and video, no need external devices to control trainer. thanks

You can use an ERG mode workout to control supported trainers together with a JSON videosync file and the corresponding video. Distance will be derived from speed, which can be the one reported by the trainer, or simulated by GC from power with slope=0, according to Train preferences.

I cant do that, for example i want to do custom interval vo2 max workout (absolute watt) and want to show in video sync with json/(from gpx) like zwift workout. I cant do that, because custom vo2max workout and json/(from gpx) under the same menu (WORKOUT menu) on train mode, and i cant choose both of it. So i use my bike computer pair to antfec trainer, and golden cheetah pair with only power meter trainer and ride json/(from gpx) sync with video, speed based on power.

It seems you don’t understand the difference between workout and videosync files, they have different functions and can be selected independently.

 

So i use my bike computer pair to antfec trainer, and golden cheetah pair with only power meter trainer and ride json/(from gpx) sync with video, speed based on power.

My previous message explains how to do that using only GC: pair the trainer to GC using FEC, select the erg mode workout for control, the json file for videosync and the corresponding media for video.
