Hi,
after a run with 25% Z1 and 75%Z2 HR zones, the conversion in 3 zones polarized model seems to be strange ( 11% in zone II ????)
Bernard.

Why?

the border between zone I and zone II in the polarized model (LT1) seems to be at around 75% HRmax
my HRmax = 171 bpm
So VT1 = 0,75 x 171 = 128 bpm
after analysing the raw data of this run :
number of values above 128 rpm : 334
total number of values : 2943
% of values above VT1 = 334/2943 = 11
in fact, VT1 is below the border of z2-z3
Great, completely understood.
Thanks.

YW,  also beware in GoldenCheetah the boundary between Polarized Zone I / Zone II is configurable in Training Zones, it has defaults for Power/HR/Pace but you can change it if you have a better estimate.
