Golden Cheetah Crashed and now Refuses to Open

Hi,
I've been using Golden Cheetah for months now (Mac OS 10.7.5) without problem. I was using a Cycleops powertap trainer to get the data into the program.
I finally got an actual rear wheel powertap with the new Joule head. I attempted to get data from today's ride into GoldenCheetah directly from the Joule.
GoldenCheetah crashed during the download.
And now it refuses to open. Every time I try to open it I get a bug/crash report. I don't save it, the program attempts to launch and promptly crashes again.
I even downloaded Golden Cheetah again, same thing happens. My fear is that one of the powerfiles got corrupted and that's what's causing the crash but I can't figure out where the program stores the data (a search on .csv and .json turns up nothing).

Can I suggest you install the latest formal release 3.0.2 and see if that fixes the problem.

I'm not using a mac, but on mine the location is listed under: -> Help-> About Golden Cheetah ->About -> (Third hyper link)

On a Mac your files are, by default, stored in ~/Library/GoldenCheetah.

I'm looking in the Library folder under my primary username. No GoldenCheetah folder. I've searched on GoldenCheetah and all that turns up is the application itself.
I deleted the original, ran Mac Maintenance (cleared a bunch of various things), rebooted, redownloaded and the program still crashes. It opens up the "This User Crashed Window" with the option to save or close. I've done both, it shows a window loading the old data. Loads it and then crashes.
So I logged out of my main user account and logged into a subaccount. GoldenCheetah shows as a runnable application. And booted but asked me to create a new user, no data was imported. So I created a Test user and it looks like that program works fine. I looked in the about/preference and it says the data is where everyone says it is Users/Username/Library/GoldenCheetah (the hyperlink appears blue but clicking it did nothing).
I still can't find it in any Library folder under my primary user account. The only one folder I find called Library find shows up under my primary Macintosh HD NOT under the individual users.
So I'm still borked and at a loss as to what to do.

Ok, so first and foremost huge thanks to Andrea Morelli who figured out how I could turn up the library/GoldenCheetah folder. It's a hidden folder in Mac but I have it now
the first thing I did was backup my user folder.
But I'm not sure where to start figuring out the problem with it. Clearly one or more of the files is corrupted but there's no telling which. I did already try trashing the last data file I imported (from the Joule) which is when the problem started but it's still crashed.
Do I just start over, delete the original folder completely and just start over?

Quick addendum, I renamed the original folder and now GoldenCheetah does open giving me the option to create a new user or open one of the folders. If I open one of hte folders, it crashes. So I may just have to recreate the year's data by reimporting the CSV's. If anyone has any better ideas, I'm all ears...

And one last update before I go actually ride :)
So I created a new user (this is in the most recent build of GC) and attempted to download the data from my Joule (this is the new headset). I get a spinny beachball then the program crashes. And then crashes upon open again. So the problem is clearly with downloading data from this head unit. Which is fine, I can use Poweragent to get the raw data, export and import. But there does appear to be a problem with GC and this headset and I know what to avoid now.
I'm still open to any ideas to rebuild my previous data would be great.

Can you raise a bug report on github ?
It would also help to share the Mac error report since it will contains lots of useful information.

I'm not sure what github is but here is the full error report from the crash. Again, what triggered the problem originally was trying to download the raw data from the new Powertap Joule headset. Poweragent can download the data from it just fine so I don't know if it's a driver issue or what.
Thanks to everyone for their help; I was able to rebuild my data by taking the original .csv files from my corrupted user and bulk uploading them into a new user. It's working fine now.

I'm not sure what github is but here is the full error report from the crash. Again, what triggered the problem originally was trying to download the raw data from the new Powertap Joule headset. Poweragent can download the data from it just fine so I don't know if it's a driver issue or what.
Thanks to everyone for their help; I was able to rebuild my data by taking the original .csv files from my corrupted user and bulk uploading them into a new user. It's working fine now.
