Hi all! I'm using GC 3.2 with a Wahoo Kickr. I have a question regarding the source of the speed data displayed in training mode. When I was using just the trainer the displayed speed was fine. Since adding a speed and cadence sensor (Garmin DSC10) I'm getting strange speed readings. It seems that GC is taking the speed readings from both the trainer and the sensor, and since there is no back wheel, the sensor is sending zeros. So my question is: is it possible to select the source of the speed data to be displayed and recorded, so that it only takes the data sent by the trainer?
Hope I was able to descrie my issue clearly. Thanks for any assistance you can provide

Hi Filip,

Yes, your assumptions are right, but unfortunately there is not really
any workaround at the moment. The S&C sensor will be sending zeros for
speed, which will get mixed in with the real speed from the Kickr. (I
ended up buying a cadence-only sensor to avoid a similar issue).

Regards,
Jon.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I'll probably end up ignoring the speed data as I (try to) train by power. It's a shame there is no way of selecting which source to use for the speed data, but it's not really a big deal. Great piece of software, made even better by the price

Filip.
