Hi,

Please, I need help.
I've downloaded these R charts "Cyclist Profile chart from Sforzo Sport Science", "CP and eCP Model" from Livers, "Fatigue Resistance Profile from Edouard" but nothing shows up.
Have no idea why.

I have downloaded, installed, enabled and pointe today's R version 4.0.3

Thank you very much,

Do you have "Use GC charts" selected in Chart settings?

Because if i select "Use GC charts", nothing is displayed. I'm using "Average Power per Interval" posted by RB, just as test.

For the first two graphs, check if you have installed all the packages needed for R and for python respectively.

For the third one, you need to change the expression "mmpdata4[c(2,3)] <- mmp$NP[mmpduration4[c(2,3)]]" with mmpdata4[c(2,3)] <- mmp$IsoPower[mmpduration4[c(2,3)]]

Hi,

I didn't know I needed Python too.
When downloading the charts only  the lack of "R" was being reported.

Tks.

Please read what is written. I told you "For the first two graphs, check if you have installed all the packages needed for R and for python respectively." which means you have to have R for the "Cyclist profile" and python for the "CP and eCP" chart with the package needed for both of them. To know this, just open the console like the image below to see in the code the packages used.

Sorry but where did you get the Cyclist Profile chart, I don't see a option to download it in GC

That happens when R is not enabled in GC, there is a tutorial in https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/wiki/UG_Special-Topics_Working-with-R

While in Trends View: View > Download Chart > Curated, the "Cyclist Profile" Radar chart requires R with fmsb package installed.

There are other options available.

Hi,

Tks for your help.
Lets address one chart at time:
For the Cyclist Profile I only need "R" , wright?
The console shows I have.

Console.jpg

For the other two ( eCP and Bike Fatigue Profile) I had read and understood I need "R" and Python but I trying to warn everybody that "when downloading those charts they do verify if you have "R" and the download doesn't happen but they don't that for Python".
No idea how to install Python but I'll search about.
Meanwhile lets try to solve the Cyclist Profile.

Thank you,

I can't read the error messages in that screen capture, but the likely error is you have not installed the R package required for that chart (fmsb, listed in the first script line).

Hi Ale,

Now that I have R up and running I went after Python.
I've watched some videos and I was able to installed it as you can see in the image:

But or some reason GC is not recognizing that installation.
Could you help?  Tks,

GC v3.6 includes Python and required packages, for v3.5 you REALLY need to read this: https://github.com/GoldenCheetah/GoldenCheetah/wiki/UG_Special-Topics_Working-with-Python

Hi Ale,

I had never thought all this was needed for only viewing charts but for programming that was never my intention but I will try.
I couldn't find the video our a link to the video "TODO TUTORIAL" mentioned in the article.

Thank you,

If you only want to use charts shared in the curated section of CloudDB the recommended way is to upgrade to v3.6 (Snapshot and Dev builds are available now, for Release you should wait) since they include embedded Python plus the required modules.

TODO is a way to state it is a pending task, but the information is available in text form in that wiki entry.
