Vector Pedal Smoothness / Torque Effectiveness Support Added

Over the weekend we added support for the new data from vector pedals.

Currently we only see it in FIT files, but as new formats support it we will add it.

We've added it to the ride and scatter plot, and a couple of average metrics too.

Will think about adding to histogram and cp curve, but not sure that will be very useful.

The 2d scatter plot lets you select the data series for x and y axis.

Apparently SRM PC8 is going to support it (I was quite surprised to see that !)

I have one of these that they sent me and I must admit, I really like it.

Its small, lots of updates all the time (e.g. SRM support) and is just getting better all the time.

It uses FIT files.

Have problem with these metrics, when synchornize my activites from trainingpeaks then Pedal Smoothness / Torque Effectiveness not showing up on cheetach,
I have to maually add workout file from garmin then it's showing. Are you gonna to fix this?

TrainingPeaks do not supply the data - it is not in the PWX file.

They also strip metadata. Largely, they suck as a repository for your training data.

I have new Power2Max NG, I do not see Pedal Smoothness / Torque Effectiveness for it. I imported FIT file.

That file doesn't contain TE and PS.

It seems to have combined_pedal_smoothness but not left or right (which makes
sense for a P2M). Could the problem be that Golden Cheetah's internal
RideFile format doesn't support combined smoothness?

Today I set at edge 520 PS and TE on display and I've seen single value ( no separate left or right) for PS, it was between 55-65%, there is not data for TE

Quite old topic but I have same problem. My Pedal Smoothness is combined (P2M) without TE (no transmission via ANT+). I can't see the PS charts in Golden Cheetah.

Is it not supported for combined pedal smoothness?

In v3.5 if it comes in the FIT file it is imported as XData series EXTRA/COMBINEDSMOOTHNESS, see the Editor tab.

I added for a Ride chart User data: XDATA("EXTRA", "COMBINEDSMOOTHNESS", resample)

And seems like I see the graph! I picked randomly "resample" as this gave me quite visible values. I don't understand the last argument.

What else can I do with it? For example, I would like to have an average in the Summary of rides.
