How do I create a custom graph and report from specific rides, dates, etc?

I want to create graphs from collections of custom data (this can be seen in the free version of SportTracks) where I could create a group of rides by:

* Type of ride (I can name them as "sustained power", "recovery", "FTP rides", etc and show only one of those categories)

* Date ranges, or specific dates

* By stats (e.g. by duration or distance. "all rides over 50 miles" or "all rides between 30-50 miles")

* By equipment

Is this possible? If not, what would it take to enable this?

You can do all of those things with v3.0 (the formal release), but some are easier in v3.1.

Your questions suggest you haven't tried, I would recommend installing it, loading some data and then coming back :)

In 3.0 - use metadata to define your own fields - but you will need to populate it for all your rides, no mean task.

 

* Date ranges, or specific dates

Yep. You obviously haven't used GC yet!

In 3.0 you define filters using a query which is a bit tricky

In 3.1 we put auto filters in to let you just pick one (ore more) values.

 

* By equipment

No different than type of ride.

I have and cannot figure out how to do this. Can you please tell me how? I've looked all throughout the app and found nothing.

So are you saying in 3.1 it's no longer possible? If it is, where do I find that?
