Always backup your data before trying one of these builds

The Fortius thread is getting a little long in the tooth and is outdated, started in 2013 things have changed.  A Link to it is here

The current release version 3.5 as of Feb 2021 does not support the fortius in slope mode.  There are some builds that are working  but will need to be downloaded directly from GitHub.  I have my Fortius running without FortiusANT it plays the videos and ERG workouts.

If you are a new user I  would suggest that you Install a released version which will have all the relevant "Bits".. configure the athlete from this version... then download and install to a different directory one of these "test" version and use it for "Train".  I have all three installed just make sure the shortcuts are starting the correct .exe.  If you already have GC just download and install one of the builds to a different directory.

This is a version I am testing it includes a calibration module

This one includes Virtual gears but not calibration... seems to be very stable

They both work for me.. You will also need the USB driver file which is here

Both links on GC GitHub contain code not merged into the main branch as I said they both work .... the build on the GC main page do not ATM

As I said you do not need FortiusANT unless using Zwift etc

I am sure any feedback on the builds would be appreciated as I seem to be the only tester

These builds will become obsolete / deleted but as of today 7 feb 2021 they are working.

I have just tried the latest windows snapshot build (5 feb) which does control the resistance of the trainer and has the calibration feature however the connection to my fortius was lost after about 17 min.  I am trying to get some debug logs but cannot get the debug data written to a file it is displayed in the CMD window but the data seems to be limited in size so it is continuously overwriting

I have tried the various syntax below from the CMD prompt running as administrator be grateful is someone can correct my syntax or tell me what I am doing wrong.  The output.txt file is created and the debug.err when added but they always empty.

START "" "C:\program files\golden cheetah\goldencheetah.exe" - debug >C:\OUTPUT.TXT 2>&1

START "" "C:\program files\golden cheetah\goldencheetah.exe" - debug 1>C:\OUTPUT.TXT 2>&1

START "" "C:\program files\golden cheetah\goldencheetah.exe" - debug 1>C:\OUTPUT.TXT 2> C:\debug.err

TIA

GoldenCheetah.exe is not a console application, when you start it from a command prompt it attaches to the console to print debug output but currently that cannot be redirected.

Hi Micky,
I have tried the 5 feb build with a fortius + t19xx_usb drivers with an RLV today.  Warm up, calibration then 65 minutes with no problems.  I don't have a DFPM rigged up at the moment so can't vefify the power readings but it seems OK.
Anything else you want me to try?
