Verifying an issue

In response to the discussion https://groups.google.com/g/golden-cheetah-users/c/-G7d-sBgiAI I have identified an issue in Estimator.cpp producing an inconsistency for which I have a resolution.

For this project is it normal to file this as an issue on Github directly or request confirmation first in one of the discussion groups.

If you have confirmed it is a bug, you can create an issue directly providing diagnostics and information to reproduce the problem there, and a pull request referencing the issue for the solution, if you have one. Otherwise it is better to discuss in the forums previously.
