What form of gold are you looking to invest in?

I would recommend either physical gold in the form of a 1 ounce gold
coin, or digital gold currency such as http://goldmoney.com

I don't know where would be the best place for you to buy a 1 ounce
gold coin in Malaysia, perhaps someone else on the list can recommend a
gold coin dealer to you.

If you are interested in buying gold money I can recommend several

im just starting out in this venture to i bought 1/4 and a 1/2 ounce of platinum when it was 593.00 an ounce the 1/2 ounce is worth 408.00 i payed 296.00 the 1/4 ounce is worth about 240.00 i payed 145.00 gold bullion is on rise and is predicted to reach a high of 447.00 by mid year. as to the value you can never loose with gold start small investments and work your way into it. also check for deals on the internet in bullion prices. thaks steve.

about them on about.com and the world gold council.
Apparently these types of accounts are available in Japan;I don't know
about the availability of them anywhere else
