Hi all,

I wrote this message just now on Slack, so I'm forwarding it here for
visibility. You can answer on either of the two threads.

I'd like to propose that we take an extended winter break for the
golang-tools monthly catch-up calls. That is, skipping November and
December, and coming back in January. There are multiple reasons for it:

* We've just entered the 1.18 freeze, which will be an especially busy
one given generics and fuzzing.

* The last meeting had low turnout, and for the upcoming call, only one
person responded to Rebecca's date poll
(https://gophers.slack.com/archives/C0VPK4Z5E/p1633558390335400)

* Rebecca and Jay have left the team, so I worry about putting extra
pressure on the remaining tooling googlers

* Skipping a call in August or December is something we've done before,
given the holidays

I've ran this past a few other regulars, and they seem to agree this is
a good idea. So I think we should go ahead and skip these two months. Of
course, if there are any topics to be talked about before January,
you're always welcome to use Slack, the golang-tools mailing list, or
even arrange calls for specific topics with relevant people as needed :)

Unless there's strong objection, tomorrow I'll go ahead and update the
calendar and wiki, and repurpose the November agenda to be for January.
Thanks, and looking forward to 1.18!
