Hi!

I'm Luis Martínez (aka lasote), founder and developer at http://conan.io, a MIT licensed, package manager, mainly focused on C/C++ language.

Despite of focusing on C++, conan is quite generic, the packages are managed with a simple python script, it's similar to "brew" for OSx.

We make an experiment with Go, mainly to prove if conan is generic enough. We are not golang developers.
We wrote a little tutorial ( http://docs.conan.io/en/latest/examples/go.html)  about the use of conan with Go libraries.

The questions are: makes any sense?, could be useful? do you really have problems with Go package management?
I'd like to highlight that conan is a full open source project, I just want to know if it could help to Go developers, not hidden intentions ;)

Thanks!
Luis
