Hi!
I'm Luis Martínez (aka lasote), founder and developer at
http://conan.io, a MIT licensed, package manager, mainly focused on C/C++ language.
Despite of focusing on C++, conan is quite generic, the packages are managed with a simple python script, it's similar to "brew" for OSx.
We make an experiment with Go, mainly to prove if conan is generic enough. We are not golang developers.
The questions are: makes any sense?, could be useful? do you really have problems with Go package management?
I'd like to highlight that conan is a full open source project, I just want to know if it could help to Go developers, not hidden intentions ;)
Thanks!
Luis
