error while downloading golang

Hi,

When I am downloading go tarball from
https://storage.googleapis.com/golang/go1.6.2.linux-amd64.tar.gz, it
is failing with some SSL error.

with wget

The connection was reset.
Try:
Reloading the page
Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET



I know this has nothing to do with the language per say, but thought
to check if anyone else has encountered this issue. It was working
fine few days back. Suddenly it started failing.
I am running on ubuntu14.04 and ubuntu16.04
