Over the past few weeks, I've been working on a real-time watch party application built with Go.
UtubeWatchTogether allows users to create rooms, synchronize video playback, chat in real time, and communicate using peer-to-peer WebRTC connections.
Tech Stack
🔹 Go
🔹 Gorilla WebSocket
🔹 WebRTC
🔹 Redis
🔹 Docker & Docker Compose
The project is still actively being improved, with planned work on UI enhancements, reconnection reliability, and TURN server support.
