Hi,

coming from Python I've just put up my first two feet into golang: Package dumpcap provides an interface to Wireshark's dumpcap-tool and enables one to capture traffic from network interface without requiring root access while further processing data. I use this in conjunction with gopacket for dissection. The repo can be found at https://github.com/lukaslueg/dumpcap

This may be of interest for some. Being my first serious lines of golang, I'd be highly interested in some review and comments on those ~800 LOCs - general structure, caveats, antipatterns...

Best regards
Lukas
