Hi,

I have a gitlab server setup, when I try `go get` it prompts for a password.

I can happily `git clone` using the ssh url of the project on gitlab.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I looks like there is a new problem with Gitlab
https://github.com/gitlabhq/gitlabhq/pull/5958#issuecomment-44647308

Is there a way to see a log of what `go get` is doing?

They are suggesting that Go is not able to find the meta tag in the page:
<meta content='gitlab.com/jbowtie/ratago git https://gitlab.com/jbowtie/ratago.git' name='go-import'>

Cheers

I've found git's url.<base>.insteadOf works well with `go get` to use SSH to clone instead of https.

`git config --global url...@gitlab.com:jbowtie/.insteadOf https://gitlab.com/jbowtie/`
