Should we design, build and release Goweb 2.0?

Guys

Since a lot of the foundation pieces for Goweb have changed (or are
changing) - do you think it's a good idea to draw a line in the sand,
design 2.0 with new features and build towards and release it?

Motivation includes;

- clean break from old Goweb code
- allows us to forget about backwards compatibility
- we can redesign some of the architectural pieces

Let me know your thoughts.

I think this is a good idea. Give us a chance to write a roadmap of what we want goweb to be.

Sounds like a great idea! I would love to be involved!

Where do we start? Perhaps a hackpad to collaboratively put together a design document?

Spectacular!

Is there, by chance, an IRC channel or some other chat system in place so we can all keep in easy contact? I know I would benefit from being able to ask questions and bounce ideas off someone.

I've taken the liberty of creating a #goweb channel on freenode IRC. Feel free to join and discuss! :)
