Hello Developers,
Why is the Go fonts not used for the playground, the homepage, godoc?

Well I would be happy if it were, but not everyone would be. The blog was in that font for a while, but there were complaints (honestly, do people not have more important things to worry about?) so the change was rolled back except for the entry announcing the font's creation.

I can not understand, I hope that these people do not come to the idea "Gopher" by a cup or glass to replace.

  Go font is a good font that has been created professionally and according to modern aspects and techniques.

  Go fonts gives Go a "face" exactly as the Gopher gives his contribution to Go.

  I hope that we can find a compromise to use the Go font, so I was suggesting that the font is used for all what is code syntax, godoc, homepage, letters etc.

I like Go fonts and use it extensively in my development environment, even for non Go related tasks.
