Request for Go Gopher Plushies to Support ACM Workshop
University of Tripoli ACM Student Chapter
Dear Golang Team,
We are behalf of the ACM Student Chapter at the University of Tripoli, a student-led organization dedicated to advancing computer science education and fostering collaboration among aspiring developers.
We are organizing a workshop on June 1st to introduce students to the Go programming language and inspire them to adopt it in their academic and professional projects. We expect around 50 participants from our Computer Science community.
We noticed that the Go Gopher plushie is available on the official Google Merch store, and we would like to kindly request Google’s support in providing a number of these plushies as symbolic gifts for our attendees. Such support would not only motivate students to engage more deeply with Go, but it would also highlight Google’s commitment to nurturing developer communities.
We will proudly acknowledge Google’s contribution during the event, across our communication channels, and even within the broader ACM global community.
