Backend Developer

A reputed U.S.-based company that has built a widely accessible and user-friendly platform to buy and sell cryptocurrency is looking to hire a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will help the company’s efforts in building a one-stop shop for customers to handle their account settings across products, i.e. profile, privacy, payment, security, etc. The NASDAQ-listed company is dedicated to the goal of creating a financial system that is enabled by crypto to be fairer, more accessible, efficient, and transparent. The selected candidate will be required to provide a 6-8 hour overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:
Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
Understand end-user needs and transform them into buildable solutions
Brainstorm ideas with internal stakeholders/ other engineers and create product roadmap
Collaborate with front-end developers to optimize platform performance and user experience
Conduct maintenance, testing, and debugging activities

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Back-End Developer
Expertise with MongoDB or DynamoDB (at least 3+ years) and Golang (5+ years)
Experience working with AWS
Nice to have familiarity with Ruby and Single Sign On (SSO) projects
Familiarity with fintech, security, and payments would be a plus
Good English communication skills, written and verbal
