Hello everyone!

Good news from the LARP front! Our adventure 'The Maelstrom' continues with the next event, the day LARP: Maelstrom: The Waking Rift.

This event will be held on Saturday the 13th of February, at the Shah Alam Botanical Gardens. The event will run from 9:00am until 6:00pm. The price of admission is RM35 for the day, including lunch, for players, or RM20 if you want to play as an NPC. Weapons are for rent at RM15. Costumes you have to provide yourself, but the standards are pretty low so no worries.

And you are all invited to join. In fact, if you are wondering whether LARP is something for you, but are afraid to commit to a big event, now is the time to try it! The Day LARP allows you to try out and savour the LARP flavour, so to say.

So join us in our adventure!

Kind regards,

Sacha and Razzman,
Gamemasters of Maelstrom

ps. Maelstrom is a high-fantasy LARP (think LotR or Game of Thrones). For those who are unfamiliar with the story of Maelstrom, I'll give a short summary:

They finally did it: the world was destroyed. The Great Sundering broke the world up in a great cataclysmic event, lightning seared the skies, great chasms formed and the air became heavy with smoke.

You are not sure why or how, but you survived as you woke up. A quick exploration of your surroundings determined that you are on some sort of floating island. In fact, the locals inform you, all that is left of the old world are floating islands. Portals have been created to travel between islands.

And so you set off to survive the last bits of the world. Your past destroyed, the future uncertain, all you can do is go forward. Perhaps one of the islands holds the answers to what happened, if you seek it. Or perhaps you set out to reestablish order and civilization, then again you might as well get to rule everything. What you do next is up to you.
