what’s everyone up to these days? I may have been in NY/NJ/Nola next week, but that has been deferred by 1-2 weeks.

Hi all!

Hope everyone is well.  Been a busy and eventful two years for me, with more to come.  I moved to Chicago about 6 months after we got back, bought a house, got engaged, and am getting married in exactly 21 days, 8 hours and 28 minutes.  Jo will be there.

I just got back from a trip t the UAE to visit Beth (who studies the Arab gulf), and got to visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi.  Based on her career, its likely I'll be transferring to Google's Dubai office in a year or so, so the adventures will continue
