The guides will be booked only after the deposits are in. The second email regarding the Wyoming trip is going to be followed later in the week. Be on the look-out!

Subject: Let's climb again..shall we?

Hey Guys

Hope you all are doing well..so good to reconnect..Serhan and I have been working in the background to do some planning for the summer.

We are excited to announce two back-to-back climbing events this summer. We are hoping to see everyone on at least one of the climbs.

Here are the highlights:

1. Top of the Europe: Mont Blanc

Mont Blanc is one of the "Seven Peaks" in the world, markibg as the highest continental european peak.

We are planning to organize a trip to attempt the summit starting on 23rd of July. The climb will start from the French village Chamonix and last for 6 days. We are going to be taking the less technical yet more scenic route through Cosmique hut. While it is not rock or ice wall climbing, there is definitely harness, crampons, and ice axe involved in the summit day. With the summit being 15,781 ft, there is definitely the challenge of altitude and elements involved. It is not a technical route, however it is definitely very physically demanding and the participants are expected to be in great physical condition.

We will fly to Geneva and take a ride to Chamonix on 23rd. We will spend the 23rd for team building events, and start the climb in activities on 24th. We will have 3 days of acclimitization climbs scaling various local peaks and refreshing technical skills. We will attempt summit in the following 2 days. We are planning to rent a large chalet that will accommodate our entire group during the trip. We will be staying in Cosmique hut during the summit days. On the way back we are going to take a day trip through Alba of Italy and visit various vineries from piedmont region and fly back from Genoa.

The overall cost is estimated to be €3,500. We will get a more detailed cost breakdown once we finalize the group and start arranging the logistics.

The trip is limited to 8 people currently but we are going to ask for more capacity if there is demand. Those who wish to be part of this trip need to act quickly as the capacity is limited and we will have to put the deposits ASAP to be able to secure the guides for the climb.

2. Once in a lifetime event: Total solar eclipse over Grand Teton:

On August 21st, there is going to be a very rare total solar eclipse that will be observed from a very scenic point, the Tetons.

We are planning to do a more family friendly hiking/climbing event on Tetons around August 21st. This is going to be low demanding event and will be open to friends and family from all ages. There will be a range of outdoors events including rock climbing, hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing, etc...

The idea is to be able experience this once in a lifetime event in a uniquely beautiful place. Depending on the participants' ambitions, we will design the details to serve all the needs.

We will have to move swiftly on this one as well since the date is well known and things will get prohibitively expensive if we linger too long. We will have to hear back from those who are interested by May 20th.

Looking to hear from you soon.

Best,

Bala and Serhan
