We have a need for a SR. .NET Developer near Newtown Square,PA for 12 month contractSr. Developer
Will be working within one of three SCRUM teams with 8-9 team members. Needs to have 5-8 years of programming experience. Must have Test driven development experience and would be nice to have worked within a XP Extreme Programming environment. Someone out of a shrink wrap software development organization will fit in best for this position.
Develop structured system and integration test plans and execute tests along with assisting in development and execution of QA and UAT testing, as well as automated unit tests on modules coded.
Strong background and expertise in the current version of the Microsoft .NET framework and associated development tools and methods required, including Visual Studio .NET, C# and/or VB.NET, ASP.NET, IIS, SQL, nUnit, nAnt and iBatis
Must have TDD experience
Test-driven development (TDD) is an advanced technique of using automated unit tests to drive the design of software and force decoupling of dependencies. The result of using this practice is a comprehensive suite of unit tests that can be run at any time to provide feedback that the software is still working. This technique is heavily emphasized by those using Agile development methodologies.
