12:00 noon until 4:00 pm at the South Park Museum Building
2100 Brownsville Road, South Park, PA 15129 (if you put this into your GPS, please make sure you use South Park, PA, not Pittsburgh, PA.  If you use Pittsburgh, you will not be directed to the park.)

The Going Home Greyhounds Pittsburgh Greyhound Gathering is right around the corner.  Be there ... rain or shine!  Pack up the family and the dogs (no small dogs please for their own safety) and head out to the South Park Museum Building for an afternoon filled with fun, auctions and food.  Unless you have a disability, please use the upper lot for parking as the cottage may be in use that day.

JUST A REMINDER:  CASH AND CHECKS ONLY.  Unfortunately, our credit card machine doesn't work in the building.

Some things to look forward to this year:

Everyone looks forward to meeting new available pups.  We happy to say that adoptables will be coming up from Wheeling. Let’s get these pups a forever couch.

SILENT AUCTION ITEMS:

Two large 20" x 28" original signed pieces of artwork by Cynthia Buell, oil on canvas.  Her art is shown in juried shows and she has had her work showing in the prestigious Berks Art Alliance in Reading.

Foursome and golf cart from Quicksilver for our golfing enthusiasts out there.

Beautiful greyhound door knocker that any greyhound owner would love to have on their front door.

And a few other special silent auction items.

AND .... Let’s not forget about the basket raffle. Many beautiful items to try your luck at.

Vendors are still welcome.  If you know of any vendors who may be interested, please contact Colleen Smith (412-852-3123) or email at:  voluu...@goinghomegreyhounds.org.  The event is rain or shine and if you choose to be outside, please bring a tent, table and chair.  Vendors must provide their own table/chair if vending inside, and vending space is on a first come/first served basis.  The vending fee is $20 or something to donate to one of our raffles.
A successful picnic requires an enormous amount of volunteer help.  Volunteer for an hour or for the day.  Help is needed in the following areas:  Set-up/clean up, GHG sales table, raffle sales, and 50/50.  Please contact Mary Fratangelo (412-310-1453) or Colleen Smith (412-852-3123) or email at:  voluu...@goinghomegreyhounds.org.

The event is for everyone to socialize, make new friends, and get re-acquainted with old friends.  There is no better way to do this than to participate.  Festivities to include Blessing of the Hounds, GHG sales table, 50/50, nail trimmings, cool down pool for the greys, food, vendors, music, and we can't forget about the auctions.  There are always new and unique items up for grabs.
If you have anything you'd like to donate, please get in touch with Colleen or Mary (contact info above).  If you are bringing an item to donate, please arrive by 11:30.

If there are any businesses you deal with on a regular basis that may make a donation, please get in touch with Mary or Colleen and they can send you a donation request letter.

Please watch your email and Facebook for updates.  We can't wait to see everyone on May 2.
