A quick note to let you know that there is one single Early Bird
ticket left. To grab it, hurry over to
<http://leeds08.going-solo.net/registration/> right now to register!
After that, the full registration price will be £220.

While I'm around:

- Six Groups is partnering with Going Solo and offering us their
LiveCommunity service. Read about it on the blog, and join us there!
<http://going-solo.net/2008/08/05/six-groups-livecommunity-for-going-solo/>
- Details of our sponsorship offerings are now available on the site:
<http://leeds08.going-solo.net/sponsors/> -- I'd like to make a
special note about the £250 micro-sponsorship option, specially
designed for startups and small companies. Get in touch for more
information.
- We should have an indian food buffet for lunch, but no fear,
there'll be an "English" option for those attendees who aren't too
excited about spicy stuff.

Some news from our speakers:

- After a first successful seminar titled "Making Social Tools
Ubiquitous", Suw Charman is back with "The Email Problem and How to
Solve it". More info:
<http://wearefruitful.com/2008/07/07/two-dates-for-your-diary/>
- Dennis Howlett is pretty pleased that the IT Counts community within
the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW), that
he's been working on for the last 15 months, won an award for Best Web
2.0 Project at Web Strategies 2008.
<http://www.web2strategies.co.uk/web08/index.html>
- Laura Fitton is working on several exciting new projects in the
microsharing space (she didn't tell me more, so you'll have to ask
her! @pistachio on Twitter is the best way to get hold of her.)
- Martin Roell has started new work as a coach and life advisor. He is
writing a blog in German about it at <http://gutefragen.de>.
- Stowe Boyd has launched a new blog, /Ground
<http://stoweboyd.com/ground>, focused on all things local. Read more
about it: <http://www.stoweboyd.com/ground/2008/07/manifesto-for-l.html>
- Stephanie Booth (that's me!) is seriously thinking about starting a
personal newsletter and officially announcing that she's looking for a
business partner for Going Far.

The blog will soon be showcasing some of the Lausanne videos and
announcing the Leeds event sponsors and partners.

Cheers, and enjoy your week-end (or have a nice Monday if you're
reading this Monday morning in the office).

Stephanie
