URGENT: Scholarship program for NITK students

This is one of the initiatives taken up by the Alumni in our Institution, and all it requires is filling up a 2 min form for a waiver in fees. Please take a few minutes of your time and fill in this form.

Dear Students,

 

Sparsh Foundation is an initiative started by a group of alumni of NITK to monetarily help and guide the deserving and socially committed but economically backward students in pursuing their education at NITK. The Sparsh Foundation invites applications for Scholarship for the academic year 2011-2012, beginning in July 2011.


Interested students may please submit the application form online. The form is available at www.thesparshfoundation.org. Deadline for online submission of first round of applications is 19th April, 2011


Here is some more information about the scholarship model:

  • Scholarship is open to students entering semester two to final semester.
  • Students with CGPA greater than 6 will be eligible for scholarship.
  • Sparsh Scholars will help college faculty in social activities at NITK.
  • Scholarship is open for all academic programs in NITK.
  • Scholarship is only for institution fees and NOT mess fees.
  • Students selected for scholarship will be intimated in early May.
  • This scholarship would be given on a semester to semester basis, The performance of every selected student with respect to his/her contribution towards social activities in NITK would decide if the scholarship awarded to him would be continued or not.
